Don’t go giving away secrets like that for free! My friend & I have been killing it on our performance reviews just by showing up and doing our jobs (and then some) without complaining at every single stage. Who knew your supervisor would like having someone who did a quality job within the timeframe ?
I had a colleague who would spend 90% of his time complaining about every single thing at work. He’s a smart guy but my god it made work so difficult.

I have a coworker like that. He is excellent at the actual “job” part because he can do everything he needs to do in about 2 hours whereas other people need the full 8. What that creates, though, is 6 hours of complaining and socializing. He says things about the company he really ought not to.
I’m a little worried he will burn out.

Interesting idea offering a homemade vs store bought tortillas. My neighborhood joints all make their own. I’m not sure how offering an option would go over.

More advice: If you buy a bunch of dumb shit that you don’t need and can’t afford and overextend yourself, don’t walk into your bosses office saying “Someone else offered me a job. I don’t mean to strong arm you, but I figured I’d be making $XX/hr at this point.” If you were worth what you’re asking, I’d be paying you that already. I’ve got a funny feeling someone will be putting in their two weeks notice in the next day or so ( unless he was bluffing) .
